Jimmy Kimmel Live Highlights

Sorry this is so late. Here were my favorite bits from last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live:

Matt Dillon was the first couch guest. I’ve enjoyed the movies I’ve seen Matt in, but didn’t get a lot out of his time on the show. Overall the interview was fine, it just wasn’t as exciting  as I’d hoped it would be.

Nikki Reed was the second couch guest. Nikki is in the new Twilight movie, but she’s also well known for co-writing and co-starring in the film Thirteen. The interview was ok, but the chemistry between her and Jimmy really wasn’t there.

Birdman with Jay Sean were the musical guest. They’re performance was good.

I give it:

Jimmy Kimmel Live Highlights

You know who I haven’t checked in on for a while? That would be a certain Mr. Kimmel. Let’s see what’s going on in his neck of the woods. Here were my favorite monologue jokes and bits from last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live:

Most of the Eastern-half of the United States is covered in a blanket of white right now. Meteorologists are calling it the worst Blast History Month ever.

This is the second major blizzard to hit this week. It’s starting to feel like the snow will never stop. They’re already calling it the Toyota of storms.

Emily Blunt was the first couch guest. She’s in the new movie The Wolfman. Emily and Jimmy are neighbors, so their time together was more like two old friends catching up rather than standard interview. Emily is fun, and she’s got that British accent (that I’m a sucker for) going on. Overall it was good conversation.

J.B. Smoove was the second couch guest. He’s currently on the show Curb Your Enthusiasm. I had never seen J.B. before, but I’m glad I did cause he’s darn funny. The interview was great and worth watching, especially the second half:

Editors were the musical guest. They gave a good performance.

A fine show. I give it:

Jimmy Kimmel Live! Highlights

Hey I’m back. Let’s get right back into it. Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live:

Tiger is returning to the tour at the Masters on April 8th. You hate to ever count Tiger out because he’s an incredible player, but I don’t see how he could win. Not only is he out of practice, as part of his therapy he’s agreed to only play one hole over and over again.

President Obama won what he called one of the great legislative victories of the last fifty years last night. He won health care reform approval to extend coverage to millions of uninsured Americans, or, as the Republicans are calling it, Armageddon.

Demi Lovato was the first couch guest. She stars on the Disney Channel show called Sonny with a Chance. She’s also a signer and is dating a Jonas Brother. Apparently she does more in a day then I do in a month. Overall the interview was good. Demi was fun and a good sport in light of Jimmy’s teasing questions:

Tom Bergeron was the second couch guest. He is the host of Dancing with the Stars. I don’t watch DWTS, as the cool kids call it, but I did enjoy Tom and the interview. For me the best part was his story about calling the Stooges when he was a kid:

All American Rejects were the musical guest. I’m a AAR fan, and thought they gave a good performance. I just wish they had played something more recent.

Good show. I give it:
