Submit a monologue joke
Have you ever wanted to write stand up? You have? Would you like to have Woody deliver your material during his monologue? You do? Seriously? Well, here’s your chance.
First: Come up with a joke. There are a few guidelines that need to be followed in order for the joke to be considered.
A. The joke has to be an original work created by you.
B. The joke’s topic must be general and timeless. It may be months before we get around to using your joke.
C. The joke must fit into four panels. Each panel may contain no more than 90 alphanumeric characters. Each panel should also include descriptions of Woody’s facial expression and any hand movements.
Second: Go to our Contact page and enter your name, email address, “Monologue Joke” in the Subject field and your joke in the Message field. Finally, hit the submit button.
Third: Wait.
Fourth: We will contact you if we decide to use your joke in a strip. You will receive writing credit when the strip is published. In addition, we will send you a desktop wallpaper of the strip.

The fine print:
If your joke is accepted it will be used to help create a Woody After Hours webcomic (hereinafter referred to as the “artwork”). Jokes are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties. If your joke is not used in the comic strip it will be discarded.
Everything in the artwork (including, but not limited to, concepts, locations, characters, storyline, text, etc) and proceeds from the artwork are the property of Depth Varies, Inc.
Please be aware that after we contact you it may be up to 30 days before your joke appears in the comic.
If you don’t hear from us it means your joke was not accepted. Please don’t take it personally. Your joke was hilarious, but it wasn’t appropriate for this comic.
