Pictures Of My World’s Largest Gummi Bear
I purchased a World’s Largest Gummi Bear™ recently and named her Penelope Pineapple. She doesn’t appear very large in this picture, so I put together some additional shots to help show how big and sweet she really is.
In order to correctly record Penelope’s measurements I used the increasingly popular rsgb (regular-sized gummi bear) unit of length. She is fourteen rsgbs tall. If I had paid attention and taken this picture from a better angle the measurement would look more accurate. By the time I had discovered my mistake I had already eaten the units.
The neat thing about using rsgb units is that you can place them head to toe, side by side or front to back depending on what you are measuring. I used the head to toe method above to measure Penelope’s height, and the side by side method below to measure her width. She is eleven rsgbs wide.
Finally, I used the front to back method to measure her depth. She seven rsgbs deep.
I took some additional reference photos in case you’re unfamiliar with rsgb units. In this next picture Penelope is roughly twice as tall as Batman or Robin.
She is as tall as the hardcover addition of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows.
She just misses matching the height of a bottle of Woodford Reserve Kentucky Bourbon.
And finally, she is a good 5 or 6 rsgbs shorter than an AT-ST from The Empire Strikes Back.
And that, my friends, is Penelope Pineapple. Click here to check on how eating Penelope is progressing.
