I don’t get out to the movies much, but I did happen to see and enjoy Sherlock Holmes this weekend. I think Guy Ritchie could have saved a few million dollars by shaving off ten minutes of unnecessary action, but once again he didn’t consult with me while making the film. He really should return my phone calls. Regardless, I had a pleasant movie experience.
Anyone else see any movies this weekend? C’mon, don’t be shy.

Good thing he doesn’t do the show in the daytime, or it would be an extreme case of “Morning, Woody”.
I really want to see “Holmes”. The trailer looks exciting and entertaining. I may take the family to see it this weekend.

Once someone posts his opening monologue on YouTube, he’ll forget all about the dancing video…

(With two kids, I can hardly fathom the concept of “out for a movie” anymore

I’m sorry Mr. Ritchie still refuses to consult you.

Don’t go to the movies much these days (too expensive, especially here in San Francisco), but I do plan on shelling out the dough to go see “Dr. Parnassus”.
Hooray for Terry Gilliam and Tom Waits (whom nobody seems to be giving attention to because they’re all wailing over Heath Ledger).

I love Gilliam–but I hope its a lot better than his last effort with Ledger.

I saw Where The Wild Things Are. It was a beautiful, haunting movie and it was a lot deeper and more complex than you’d think it would be.
