I’m getting this in under the wire, so I’ll be quick. Here were my favorite monologue jokes from last night’s Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien:
This Friday the official Christmas tree was delivered to the White House. Unfortunately, the Secret Service had already let in three other trees that claimed they were on the list.
The National Domestic Violence Hotline has weighed in on the movie Twilight, and it says that Bella’s relationship with the vampire Edward has fifteen signs of being an abusive relationship. Sign number one: he’s a vampire!
The Los Angeles Clippers have suspended their TV announcers because they made a racist remark about an Iranian player during the TV broadcast. I’m shocked by this. Why would anyone televise a Clippers game?
Police in Portland, Maine arrested forty-three people on drug charges after a concert by the band Phish. Yeah, cops became suspicious of the Phish fans about fifteen years ago.

The desk segment was the always decently-funny In the Year 3000:
William Shatner was the first couch guest. The interview was ok. I enjoy Shatner, but man is he kinda weird. Here was the best part of the interview:
AnnaLynne McCord was the second couch guest. The interview was also ok.
The Broadway cast from Mary Poppins was the musical guest. I wish I had a clip of their performance. They were easily the best part of the show.
